Inland Empire Commuter IncentivesYou’ve made the choice to rideshare. We’ll bet you thought the extra cash in your pocket plus helping to reduce carbon emissions and cleaner air was your reward. As a Riverside County or San Bernardino County resident, making the rideshare choice might also qualify you for the following incentives: $2/day IncentiveNew ridesharers who try carpooling, vanpooling, riding the bus or Metrolink, bicycling, walking, or telecommuting may be eligible to receive a $2/day incentive for each day they rideshare for the first three months. Vanpool SubsidyThe Victor Valley Transit Authority (VVTA) is offering a $400 a month, ongoing subsidy, to qualified vanpools that either originate or terminate in the greater Victor Valley. Note that vanpools that qualify for the VVTA subsidy may not simultaneously receive the IECS $2 a day or 9-month staggered vanpool incentive, or any other subsidy from neighboring vanpool programs. Vanpool IncentiveEach new start-up vanpool originating and terminating in the Inland Empire may receive up to $1,800 over a 9-month period: $300 per month for the first 3 months, $200 per month for the next 3 months, and $100 per month for the last 3 months. RidesharePlusIf you are a Riverside County or San Bernardino County resident and carpool, vanpool, take the bus or Metrolink, bicycling, walk, or telecommute at least one day a week, you could be eligible. Your RidesharePlus membership entitles you to a coupon book full of savings and access to a members only website where you can print coupons from more than 135,000 merchants.
